Hey guys Kdot and Newman here,
Being the month of October, some unexpected spooky stuff is bound to happen sooner or later.... Bad spooky. We kind of have some bad news. *plays sad violin
I (Kdot) have had two of my hard drives fail unexpectedly, precisely the two which had the Ben X trainer and the back up of it, meaning that I have lost all the data for the game along with all my work and other things (goodbye forever porn stash, I'll remember the good times).
That being said don't think we're quitting or anything, it just means we have a chance to start from scratch and add new ideas. Newman is working on a Charmcaster scene after the game's convention he was attending so look for it here in a day or two.
Why do we fall Bruce? So we can learn to pick ourselves up motherfuckers!

ReplyDeleteanyways, little advice, make an account on https://mega.nz and upload periodically to a private folder the source code. can't have all the backups on physical drives :P also, in case it peeks your interest: there's a system called "source code control system". it's basically the kinda system minecraft uses to switch back and forth to old alpha versions in the launcher :) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Source_Code_Control_System
best of luck, and lets hope the game will be DOUBLY awesome, now that you're looking at the code with a fresh pair of eyes and building it up again from the ground, sans "games world" :P (sorta like germany being rebuild after ww2, lol)
